Education and Technical Training for Visually Impaired Students in Bangladesh
In the heart of a bustling city amid the hustle and bustle of everyday life, a place of hope and transformation is the Songjog Foundation. Dedicated to empowering visually impaired students, nurturing their talents, and helping them overcome challenges in life.
Introduction:
We are thrilled to launch our latest initiative to empower visually impaired students. Our mission is to bridge the gap between demand and availability of essential public services in Dhaka district, especially those facing unique challenges posed by visual impairment and limited resources.
Background:
We are pleased to report that ten visually impaired students have recently been accommodated, at our dedicated facility. These young individuals hail from underprivileged backgrounds and have encountered significant obstacles due to their visual impairments, we are committed to providing a secure and nurturing environment for these students, ensuring their access to education, specialized training, and essential services.
Our Initiatives:
Nutritious and Well-Balanced Meals:
We provide carefully crafted meals tailored to meet the dietary needs of our students. Our diverse and healthy menu promotes their overall well-being.
Educational Support:
We offer a range of educational resources, including textbooks, study materials, and assistive technologies. All school fees and necessary educational expenses are covered.
General education- already ongoing

Specialized Training:
Our facility facilitates specialized training programs designed to enhance our students’ skills and abilities.We provide training in areas that align with their career aspirations.
Medical Support:
Regular medical check-ups and necessary treatments are arranged for the students.
