Songjog launched Ambulance Service for Underprivileged People

Songjog Connecting People Foundation (SCPF), a non-profit organisation, purchased a new Foton ambulance on May 16 from ACI Motors, a subsidiary of ACI Group and distributor of commercial vehicle brand Foton.

Arif Dowla, managing director of ACI Ltd, handed over the key of Foton ambulance to Ahmed Javed Jamal, founder of SCPF, and Md Adbul Momin Monzur, member of executive committee, at ACI Centre in Dhaka, according to a press release.

The ambulance has unique features including all-round vents for central air-conditioning, built-in oxygen cylinder, cabinet for medicine, first aid box and foldable patient stretcher.

For the safety of the driver and the patient the ambulance has anti-lock braking technology.

The driver cabin comprises a proper air-conditioning system, high-tech dashboard, power steering, adjustable seats, auto window & door lock system.

ACI motors, which starts commercially marketing the vehicle of brand Foton in 2019, will provide a 3-year service facility with six free services for this ambulance through their nationwide service network.

FH Ansarey, managing director of ACI Motors Ltd, and Subrata Ranjan Das, executive director, were present.
